Note, I'd rather stay at the hyatt, it makes life easier and con hotels are just more fun. Since I won't be buying anything in the dealer's room, con hotel rates seem kind of reasonable. =P

I love Vivaldi, he's a genius at the violin (I'll give you 3 guesses to guess what instrument I played in elementary school ^_~). Amazon.com (the evil creation of Jeff Bezos) has found 152 cds with the key words: "vivaldi, four seasons", some of them are the obiligatory "Best of Baroque" or "Top ten Violin Concertos" but some was "So&So's adaptation of the Four Seasons". O_o yeah... okay...

I don't know much about composers but what I do know about composers is about Vivaldi. ^^ He was a red haired priest that taught school girls how to play the violin. I'm going off on a limb here and assuming that he excelled at the violin. 80-90% of the Four Seasons cds have violins as the concerto's "main voice" (so to speak) so why would you have the Candian Brass ensemble be the main voice of a concerto that was obviously composed for a violin? Could a french horn simulate the tweeting of a bird? Could a trumpet simulate the sound of bubbling water? Like wise why have flutes as a strong instrument? I laughed at the "Nature" version of the four seasons (birds chirping in the background of the track, that's a little too close to nature...). Dunno, I guess I'm biased towards the violin version or just the violin in general. ^_^;;

The version of t4Seasons I currently own is an old Austrian (maybe German?) orchestra version, which despite its misleading words "allegro" and "presto", is the version of t4Seasons that I love the best. Its neither too fast nor too clipped and it sounds like nature. The orchestra took time to make Vivaldi's 4 seasons sound like 4 seasons (shock). 75 cds later I have 3 possibilities that match the old 10 year old version of the current cd, but none sounds like the one I have. (I wore the Winter part of the cd ^^;;; it fades, I never thought I'd warp a cd). I was on cd #75 when I gave up. I'll look for it later. ^_^

I put the dust jackets back on my manga, and I realized that even with the 10 odd volumes of manga I want to ebay/give away I have no bookcase space. =P

TamaTama~ made a sparkly Kouryuu wallpaper out of this image I scaned from a clearfile (the file is at least umm... 4 years old?). Now I have a beautful wallpaper to go with my Wish icons, which can be found on my desktop page.

I need a new computer, Photoshop gives me a disk error everytime try to save layered psd files. Its fatal and they're sorry (btw =P). Its the sign that I need a larger HD and more RAM wouldn't hurt.

Geez my life is boring huh? ^^;;; My argumentation and advocacy class was boring. The debaters didn't debate well (well not that I saw, I saw high school debaters stay on topic better than the ones in my class ^^;;;) I know this sounds stuck up (and I apologize as I let my debater/coach self rant for a bit), but its hard to ignore how they veer off topic or belittle the audience. Rule #1 of debate or public speaking: don't be nervous, command the audience, OWN the audience (but never belittle the audience) and #2: Don't treat the audience as if we're stupid. >_< The one thing I hate is when a speaker says "I'll repeat again" and proceeds to repeat at a clipped slightly slower pace so. the. words. can. stick. in. my. memory. -_- None except for 2 out of the 8 told me why they thought they won or gave a clear message. =P Enough ranting about that, it probably makes no sense anyways. ^^;;

Hmmm now that I think about it, I need to teach my kids message/big picture debate tomorrow.

I got a new hairbrush and First Years is on tonight! yay!

My life is so sad. -_- I get excited about getting a new hairbrush and watching some unrealistic law show. On a nicer note I have enough shampoo to last me 5 months. XD Oh well, after tomorrow's midterm I will have a nice coasting week. XD

Hopefully I can manage my way over to the used book store and look for some much needed sci-fi books. x_x

Emi~ has sent a Pretia page bunny my way and now various issues of Asuka and Fantasy DX litter my desk. (Not to mention the Pretia manga itself @_@). I have decided to make a page on Pretia. ^_^ It will hopefully be ready by May when I also load up May's layout (which was at first Supersonic Angel Engine but is now Hayate, Himeno, and Sasame.)

I have some small gripes about the Pretia anime character designs. 1) Kei looks like a fruit or a bad Mihoshi cosplayer ^_^;;; 2) Sasame looks so pale I'm afraid he'll fall over from something 3) Hayate (thank god) has been spared the designer's pen and is still uber cool as always.

Oh and Emi found out that the Butler's voice is Koyasu. o_O Ummm...

I archived, I dunno it felt right. =) Too bad the cute pink Wish Bunny layout lasted only 1 archive round. Oh well. I love the look on Yukino's face on the far left picture. That's how I feel sometimes when I don't get enough sleep or when I get off the phone with my mom. =P

I'm half way thru I, Robot its a cool book. (*Steph thanks Dom for the recommendation*). And I need the Virgin Suicides CD its all Air music. *_*
